We have these piles on the floor every 2 feet in the playroom. Anyone else have this problem? I throw them out, probably not a very nice mom thing to do. They aren't missed, so I'm sticking with it.
We have those everywhere! I feel guilty throwing them away too, I am trying to not keep everything but it is hard, I feel like each project shows growth and development. I try to keep in mind all the cute projects that will be coming home from school each year too and that helps when I have to purge. Sometimes it feels really good to crumple up some trash after everyone has gone to sleep, kind of like Monica and Rachel burning boyfriend stuff in the trashcan on Friends.
When the ultrasound tech declared I was having another boy, I declared myself princess! No job sharing here. I wear the tiara in this family. I'm the mother of three darling little boys. Add in my husband and dog(yes, my grumpy male dog counts) and that's a lot of testosterone. They are dirty little wrestling rascals. I let my boys be boys, but I like things pretty. What's the best defense and the only way I stay sane? Organize my heart out, decorate in spite of 2000 match box cars on the kitchen floor and when the castle gets really crazy I grab something and paint it!
